We’re proud to celebrate Andrew Coleman, Ed.D. on his appointment as the new Chief of Schools at Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado. Drew is a proven, student-centered leader whose work has consistently strengthened instructional practice, elevated school leadership, and improved outcomes across communities. Known for his strategic vision and collaborative approach, he brings the experience and integrity needed to lead systems toward lasting impact. While fewer than 2% of educators are Black and Brown, leaders from diverse backgrounds strengthen organizations, expand what students believe is possible, and improve systems for everyone. When one of us rises, it lifts expectations, opportunity, and impact across entire communities. Drew’s journey is a powerful reminder that representation isn’t about symbolism, it’s about results.
