Dr. Fernando Branch

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Fernando M. Branch is an educational leader, author, and advocate dedicated to advancing equitable, culturally affirming learning experiences for all students. As Principal of Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy—Denver’s only high school modeled after Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)—he leads with a vision grounded in belonging, academic excellence, and opportunity. With experience as a teacher, district leader, and national instructional coach, Dr. Branch is widely recognized for his work in strengthening school culture, cultivating educator talent, and designing high-quality STEM and career pathways that empower students to thrive.

Dr. Branch also serves as a core leader with the Colorado Men of Color Collaborative (CMOCC), an organization committed to recruiting, developing, and elevating men of color across Colorado’s educator workforce. Through initiatives such as the Educator Excellence Institute and community-driven leadership programs, he works to build a robust pipeline of diverse educators who reflect and uplift the communities they serve. A published author and frequent presenter, Dr. Branch brings his Memphis roots, barbershop wisdom, and unwavering belief that all kids can learn to every space he leads—continuing his mission to create schools where students and educators rise with purpose and pride.

Dr. Jeremy Eddie is an accomplished educational leader with deep expertise in community engagement, talent development, and Career & Technical Education (CTE)/STEM pathway design. With a career dedicated to expanding access and opportunity for all students, Dr. Eddie has built a reputation for forging strong community partnerships, strengthening recruitment pipelines, and designing innovative programming that prepares scholars for success in high-demand fields. His work reflects a commitment to equity, excellence, and the belief that every learner deserves a high-quality, future-focused education.

Dr. Eddie’s leadership extends beyond traditional school walls, as he actively collaborates with industry partners, higher education institutions, and local organizations to build meaningful learning experiences that connect students to real-world careers. Known for his strategic vision, relationship-centered approach, and unwavering advocacy for students and educators, he continues to shape vibrant learning ecosystems that uplift communities and inspire the next generation of leaders.
